Position: Production Baker

Wage: $16.50 CAD per hour

Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada

 

 Requirements

  • 2 years of production bakery experience. Having worked at a production bakery facility (high volumes of bread per hour)
  • English: interview with a recruiter will be done to determine if is sufficient

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
  • Bake mixed dough and batters
  • Prepare special orders
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
  • Inspect work station areas
  • Operate machinery
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to listen, focus and follow basic instructions in English
  • Must be open to working variable shifts: mornings, evenings and nights
  • Ability to follow all appropriate safety standards in food production
  • Willing to work until the job is complete

 

Conditions

  • Work hours: 40-44 hours per week
  • Workday schedule varies by shift
  • 1-2 days off per week, depending on the workload and shift schedules
